Last updated: July 24, 2026

This page is maintained by Vertex Yachts to explain how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you visit our website, request a charter, or communicate with our concierge team.

1. Information we collect

We collect the information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, preferred charter date, guest count, and any details you share through our booking widget or contact form. When you complete a deposit, payment information is handled securely by Stripe; we do not store full payment card details on our servers.

We may also collect limited technical information automatically, including your browser type, device information, and pages visited, to help us improve the website experience.

2. How we use your information

  • Respond to inquiries and prepare a personalized charter quote
  • Process deposits and charter payments
  • Send booking confirmations, payment reminders, and reservation updates
  • Provide customer support before, during, and after your charter
  • Maintain records required for operations, accounting, and legal compliance

3. SMS messaging and phone numbers

If you provide your mobile phone number and opt in, Vertex Yachts may send you text messages related to your charter. Phone numbers are used only for booking confirmations, payment reminders, reservation updates, and customer support.

Your mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. We use Twilio as a service provider to deliver SMS messages on our behalf. Twilio is contractually permitted to use your phone number only to provide messaging services to Vertex Yachts.

  • Message frequency varies based on your booking status and communications with us.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP to unsubscribe from SMS updates at any time.
  • Reply HELP for assistance or contact us directly.
  • Opting in is not required to request a quote or book a charter.

4. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with trusted service providers who help us operate our business, such as Stripe for payments, Twilio for SMS delivery, and our email/hosting providers. These providers are only given access to the information necessary to perform their services and are required to protect it.

5. Cookies and analytics

Our website may use basic analytics and cookies to understand how visitors use the site and to improve functionality. You can adjust your browser settings to refuse cookies, though some features may not work as intended.

6. Data retention and security

We retain your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, including legal, accounting, and operational needs. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

7. Your choices and rights

You may contact us at any time to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal or operational retention requirements. You may also unsubscribe from marketing emails by following the link in any email we send.

8. Children's privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
